Offline programming for point-to-point operations
For a large number of processes everything important really happens in a point while robot is not moving: riventing, spot welding, inserting, tapping, clinching, drilling.
Needle takes care of robot trajectories generation in between all processing points so that user can program a workcell just designing products in 3D.
Robot can be programmed both to handle the part or to move tools, part can be flat or shaped (tipically a bent metalsheet), rivet or fastener can be picked each time or automatically supplied.
A vision system can be integrated to the workcell (and controlled by offline programming) to ensure proper accuracy of operations.
